The apostle Paul knew his past. He knew what he had been and now he knew who he was in Christ. He did not shy away from declaring who Jesus was. He tells the Corinthian believers (15) that he is handing to them what he also received.
He retells them, “Christ died for our sins and that he was buried and he rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, that he appeared to Peter and then to the Twelve. He also appeared to more than 500 men and women at one time and most of those people are still living. And last of all He appeared to me.”
Paul never forgot the story and told it everywhere he went. He never forgot his past but he always looked to the future and his mission to teach and bring the message of salvation to all believers.
In John 14 Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
