Isaiah 50 gives us a prophetic glimpse into the future of who Jesus is:

*Jesus was able to speak to the weary.
*Jesus heard God speak to him every morning.
*Jesus did not rebel or turn back from his mission.
*Jesus gave his back to be beaten.
*Jesus gave his beard to be plucked.
*Jesus did not shield his face from the buffets and spitting.
*Jesus set his face as a flint knowing what He had to do. He did not stop or change his mind.

As we prepare for Easter, it is important to remember that this was God’s plan to save us. Jesus knew what he must suffer but he chose to obey his Father and to provide salvation for us. Thank you Lord for this unspeakable gift.
