When Love Come to Town


When Jonah comes to town, the Ninevites were so lost, God refers to them as “not knowing the difference between their left hand and their right hand” (Jonah 4).

When Jesus comes to Bethany, Martha serves when she should have sat like Mary in Jesus presence.

What is the moral of these two stories? Regardless if you a notorious sinner or a life long friend of Jesus, it’s always a good day to repent.

Both the Ninevites and Mary (in their hearts) were echoing today’s Psalm: “Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD. LORD, hear my voice!
Let your ears be attentive
to my voice in supplication.If you, O Lord, mark iniquities, who can stand?
If you, O But with you is forgiveness”
